I was born in raised in Lansing, Michigan and a graduate of Lansing Everett High School. I left my employer of 12 years working for Bridgewater Interiors in Lansing,Michigan and a member of UAW Local 724 in 2018 to pursue the growth of Footprints of Michigan full time.My compassion for helping those in need was instilled by my parents who taught me that even if you didn't have a lot of money you could still help make a difference in someones life. My drive comes from seeing those we serve on a daily basis the smiles,hugs, and tears to know other people give their warm footwear so that others can live with dignity and comfort fills my heart with joy, see I've learned there is nothing wrong with working hard and getting nice things in life but also to never look down on others instead give them a hand up. We have big plans for the future which include our own facility and more satellite offices throughout the State. All this is not possible with out the wonderful donors who support this cause.
