It started with
a desire to help
Founded by Geronimo Lerma III, Footprints of Michigan began in his parents’ attic in 2014. His father, a double amputee, helped inspire a mission centered on the comfort and dignity that footwear can provide.
From children starting school to veterans and neighbors facing hardship, our work is grounded in a simple idea: everyone deserves care and respect.

Footprints of Michigan is a Lansing-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving communities throughout Michigan.
