YELLOW HEART

A yellow heart has become the symbol to remember the lives lost to Covid-19.

The Michigan Covid Memorial is being created to display the names of loved ones who have

been lost to Covid-19, and as reminder of the impact the pandemic has had on all of us. This

effort is being inspired by similar memorials from across the country. This display is for

people who were from Michigan or have family that lived in Michigan. Their name will be placed in the heart and on the wall displayed to start in the Lansing Mall in Lansing, Michigan and in the Westwood Mall in Jackson, Michigan. Other locations may be added in future.

FACEBOOK

A Michigan Covid Memorial Facebook page has been created as a way to communicate with

others from Michigan that are in a similar situation. You can post pictures of your loved ones,

share their stories and memories there. This is a page was created to honor your loved ones

and not have them be just a statistic.
